  Thought it was funny when I said Britney Spears is gearing up for one of the greatest comebacks? Well I'm sure most people by now have realized the drastic transformation in what seemed like her dying career. Notice how she's not getting slammed over all the magazines lately? Or how all her crazy antics that were fueling a very highly publicized custody battle have subsided. Super producer Darkchild, known for working with the best of the best in the industry gives a few interesting details about the new Britney album that is expected to be released sometime early 2009. The word he used to describe this collaboration between Britney and himself is Reinventing. Which is exactly what a comeback is all about.

• Washington Hands-Free Driving Law In Effect

  Today marks the beginning of the Washington State Hands-Free Driving Law (ESSB 5037). This means that the use of a wireless device held to your ear while driving is prohibited. However you are free to use your device if you are using a hands-free device such as a bluetooth headset. The only time it will be acceptable to use your cell-phone in the conventional way is if there is an emergency or you are reporting illegal activity.
  
  The law is what's known as a secondary enforcement law which means you can only get a ticket when you are pulled over for some other reason first. For instance if you were so caught up in your conversation that you failed to recognize a stop sign and proceeded through without stopping, not only will you get a ticket for running the stop sign but you will also get ticketed for violating the hans-free driving law. Very similar idea to the text-messaging ban that went into effect at the beginning of the year.
  
  The fine for violating this law is $124 and will not go on your driving record and employers and insurance companies will not recieve any information regarding the violation.

• The Cheesy Truth About Chucky

  According to this kid, Chucky Cheese is the place to be. Unfortunately I know otherwise. Having sisters and niece that are now at the "let's have a real party because I can actually remember it" phase, I have been to Chucky Cheese atleast twice this year and soon to be a third. For those of you who are my age and older (though I won't state how old I am) you just might remember the Chucky Cheese that was THEE place to be when you had a party. Now all you get is a small shell of what used to be the birthday destination.

  I remember when Chucky would roam around freely, the pizza was actually good and the ball pit was so big that when your time was up, if you hid well enough...you could join forces with next batch of kids they let in. Not anymore. Now all you get is a handfull of games and you're lucky if they're in working order, a halfway broken down electronic Chucky and a live one that will come out for about 5min. Oh the good ol' days. Poor kids these days will never know what it really meant to have a Chucky Cheese birthday.

  P.S. I love the automatic curtain entrance at the beginning.
